Plot summary
The main protagonists are part of a special task force charged with tackling criminal cases pertaining to the Indian community and Indian immigrants in Singapore. The unit keeps a low profile, but their work is intense, to say the least.
Spearheaded by Chief Dayanidhi, the team consists of three teams of two, plus an assigned criminologist. They deal mainly with cold-blooded murders, kidnaps and sexual crimes. But as their professional and personal lives collide, the team faces internal conflict that threatens to destroy relationships and end lives. The pledge that they took to uphold justice and peace in the country that they love will be put to the test.
Characters
Team 1
Nantha (Shabir) and Seelan (Vignesh) are a powerhouse duo. Well-matched in mental dexterity and physical strength, they form a formidable force. They complement each other well and intuitively predict and act on each other’s moves. However, they bear deep grudges against each other, creating great tension in the entire unit. Seelan is the only married man in the unit, and has a daughter. He is the responsible one and always thinking ahead in life. Nantha, on the other hand, is single and shuns commitment in relationships. Dark and handsome, his broody nature hides deep, dark secrets.
Team 2
Mugi, a diploma holder, is paired up with rookie and fresh graudate Prakash. As different as chalk and cheese, their ideologies are always conflicting, and they never seem to be able to compromise for each other. This causes endless rifts between them. Prakash always abides by the rules and strictly adheres to protocols while Mugi endorses a "do first, explain later" attitude. The sight of goody-two shoes, Prakash, irritates Mugi, who often demeans the former with simpleton tasks like buying coffee and curry puffs, and the photocopying, faxing and filing of documents.
Team 3
Shan and Radha are the most harmonious team in the whole unit. They are the best of buddies. Both of them are in love, though not with each other. Two attractive and young individuals, but their friendship is platonic. Radha is secretly in love with Nantha, and Shan with Gina, the in-house criminologist.
Video clips from the series will also be shown alongside the posters.
